ABOUT MasiJay:
     Growing up in the streets of the Detroit’s Westside MasiJay has had his chance to experience the highs and the lows in his young life. After recording his first R&B track, “Flowers on the Bed,” with Big Shot Records, he knew he would be destined to blow up. Ever since MasiJay has been creating the unique blended sound of Hip Hop/R&B/Soul that puts shivers through the spine. Searching to expand his exposure to the industry Masi, at age 22, decided to move to Los Angeles, CA. Just two weeks before leaving the unthinkable happened--on July 20th, 2008, MasiJay was shot three times during an unsuccessful car-jacking. After two weeks of recovery MasiJay proceeded with his dreams, and now residing in Hollywood, CA. Please believe this is the short version of his long, young life.
